I haven't posted in my blog for a while and think it's time I get the creative juices flowing again. I've been photographing a lot recently and thought I'd start the first post of 2013 with some snaps from a shoot I did down by the sea last week.
I'm trying to improve both my work with natural light and my subject direction, so asked a good friend of mine, Laura, to pose for me. I was so pleased with the results! I asked her to wear a blue dress as I thought it would match her eyes lovely, but what I also didn't realise until editing was how well her blue eyes and caramel hair fit wonderfully with the colours of the seaside - you learn something new at every shoot!
It was such a fun session - thank you, Laura! Hope you like them :)
